Easy Chicken Recipe: Herbed Organic Sprinkle Chicken

It’s easy to get bored when cooking chicken.  We tend to fall into a rut and use the same recipe or marinade time after time. Although I have written some delicious recipes for chicken, like Lemon Basil Chicken and Chicken Cacciatore for the slow cooker, I was also looking for a way to spice things up.

Since my fresh herbs are gone (*sigh*) so I went searching through my dried herb collection to create something new.  I debated using rosemary, but my husband doesn’t like it. I considered using cilantro, but I’ve used it all summer, and I needed a change.  Then I remembered that I had the ultimate herb and spice blend – Bragg Organic Sprinkle Seasoning.

Bragg Organic Sprinkle Seasoning contains 24 herbs and spices and has a mild fragrance while being bold on flavor.  It’s also certified gluten-free.

Here is an easy chicken recipe with five ingredients and very little preparation.

Herbed Bragg Organic Sprinkle Chicken

Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 25 minutes
Total Time 30 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pound chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon  Bragg Organic Sprinkle Seasoning
  • 1/2 lemon juiced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic minced (for low FODMAP, use 1 teaspoon Casa de Sante No Garlic No Onion Lemon Herb Seasoning)

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a gallon-sized zippered plastic bag and let marinate for at least 30 minutes or up to 8 hours (in the refrigerator if more than 30 minutes)

  2. Grill on the barbecue or bake at 350F for 25 minutes, or until the internal temperature is 165F.  Serve hot.

Double the batch and freeze the extras for even easier meals on future nights.  It can’t be easier than Herbed Bragg Organic Sprinkle Chicken when it comes to lots of flavor and very little preparation.

Enjoy!
